Limited free goodie bags available today at Bromley Vue

Blue Monday sufferers will be able to cuddle up in their slippers under a blanket – in the cinema.

But they might have to be up early to bag their spot – there are only a limited number of free goodie bags available at Bromley’s Vue cinema on Monday.

The third Monday of January has been dubbed the most miserable day of the year – but the movie house aims to banish the gloom by providing a bit of extra happiness and relaxation in the form of a cosy blanket, a pair of slippers and mindfulness tips for customers.

Vue hopes customers will Get Lost in great stories from the likes of The Gentlemen, Jumanji: The Next Level, and Star Wars:
The Rise of Skywalker.

This follows new research from Vue and University College London, which has revealed that a few hours in front of the big screen can optimise our brain function, social connections, productivity and creativity.

These findings have been launched in conjunction with Vue’s Get Lost campaign, featuring Peckham-raised John Boyega, encouraging viewers to fully switch off and immerse themselves in the full big screen experience.

Blue Monday kits are available on request, free of charge to a limited number of customers of Vue Bromley from Monday on a strictly first-come-first-served basis.
