Liverpool 0 Chelsea 0 – Hazard shines but no goals at Anfield at half-time
Eden Hazard was the first half star for Chelsea but not even his mercurial skills could prise open a less than watertight Liverpool defence.
The 45 minutes was punctuated by half-chances and sloppy defending, but for the neutral, it appeared an open, end-to end match.
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah was the pick for the home side with a couple of chances inching past Thibaut Coutrois’s Goal.
A hazard daisy-cutter, saved by Simon Mignolet, the best for the Blues.
