Man and his family racially abused at Tooting Broadway Tube Station

Police have launched an investigation after a man with his family was racially abused at a Tube station.

The victim was leaving a train at Tooting Broadway station on the Northern Line on December 11, 2021, when he and his family were approached by two men, who allegedly racially abused the man and pushed him.

British Transport Police (BTP) have released images of two men they believe could help them with their investigation.

Images of the two men

The first man, with a beard and a bald head, is pictured wearing a red sports scarf, a black puffer jacket and a green hoodie.

The second was seen wearing a green parka with a fur-lined hood and a dark green cap.

A BTP spokesperson said: “If you recognise them, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 569 of 11/12/21.

“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
