Man charged with attacking emergency worker in Streatham

A man has been charged with various offences following an incident on Streatham High Road.

John McDaid, 23, of no fixed address, was charged on Friday, 10 January with two counts of common assault, criminal damage, and assaulting an emergency worker.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court this morning, Saturday, 11 January.

It follows an incident in which two men were assaulted in Streatham High Road around 7.41pm on Thursday, 9 January.
