A man has been charged with the murder of two people who were found with stab injuries at an address in Stockwell.
Daniel Briceno-Garcia, 44, of Dorset Road, Stockwell was charged yesterday with two counts of murder.
He will appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court today.
Police were called to a house in Dorset Road at around 4pm on Wednesday.
Inside the address, officers found a 59-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman suffering stab injuries – both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Six people – five men and one woman – were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder; one man was charged, while the others have been bailed pending further enquiries.
