A man has been charged with the murder of 18-year-old Jay Sewell in Lee on December 11.
Charlie Dudley, 25, of no fixed abode was charged with murder and will appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 17 December.
Eight other people have been arrested as part of this investigation.
Five males, aged 22, 56, 31, 16 and – and two women – aged 29 and 53 – have been released under investigation.
A 20-year-old man has been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in mid-January 2019.
The investigation was launched after police were called to Alwold Crescent, in Lee, at around 9.50pm on Tuesday, 11 December. Jay had been taken to hospital suffering stab injuries where he later died.
