Man charged with murder of wife in Bexley
A man has been charged with the murder of his wife in Bexley.
Leslie Winnister, 68, of Becketts Close, Bexley has been charged with the murder of his wife, Suzanne Winnister.
He was due to appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
Police were called at around 9.15pm on Tuesday of last week to a woman found collapsed at the couple’s home in Becketts Close.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended, where 66-year-old Mrs Winnister was pronounced dead.
A special post-mortem examination held on Wednesday gave cause of death as severe head and neck injuries.
