Man dies in motorbike crash with car in Lewisham

A man has died after his motorbike crashed into a car.

Emergency services were called to Lee High Road at the junction with Burnt Ash Road in Lewisham at around 11.30am on Monday, November 11 following reports of a serious collision.

A 29-year-old man, the rider of the motorcycle, was suffering from seriousinjuries following a collision with a car.

The man was taken to a central London hospital by London Ambulance Service where he died the next day.

The 21-year-old female driver was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a collision and was taken to a South London police station where she was released under investigation.
