Man shot in the backside while riding bike in Brixton Hill

Detectives from Trident Crime Command are appealing for information following a shooting in Lambeth.

The incident happened at about 00:50hrs on Saturday, 1 June on Forster Road, Brixton Hill.

The victim, a 24-year-old man, was riding a cycle on the road when shots were fired at him from a passing car.

The victim was hit by pellets and received injuries to his buttocks.

He was taken to a west London hospital by paramedics and has since been discharged.

Detectives are trying to trace two cars, a dark BMW and a silver Ford that were seen near the scene of the shooting.
