A man was shot outside a restaurant in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The shooting took place in Imperial Way, Croydon, outside the Love a Slice (LAS) Lounge, which was open at the time.

A 22-year-old man was found suffering from gunshot wounds by emergency services, who were called at around 1am.

He was later taken to hospital where his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police are now appealing for witnesses and information.
