Lorry driver remanded in custody charged with murder of ex-wife in East Dulwich

A lorry driver has appeared at the Old Bailey charged with murder following the death of a woman in East Dulwich.

Stony Stoica, 44, of Lordship Lane, was remanded in custody charged with the murder of his ex-wife 36-year-old Beatrice Stoica.

This follows an incident at an address in Lordship Lane on Friday evening.

Police and London Ambulance Service were called at around 10.10pm and found a woman suffering stab injuries. She was taken to hospital but subsequently died.

Judge Rebecca Trowler QC set a timetable for the case, with a plea hearing on October 13. Stoica was remanded into custody.
