Manchester City v Crystal Palace team line-ups: Hodgson switch to 4-3-3 as Zaha and Tomkins return

BY MATT WOOSNAM
Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has elected to make three changes for the visit to Manchester City.

Wilfried Zaha and James Tomkins return from suspension following the victory over Leicester City last week and come straight back in.

Wayne Hennessey and Martin Kelly miss out through injury.

But Cheikhou Kouyate makes way for Jeffrey Schlupp in the centre of midfield, whilst Max Meyer continues to be in favour.

Palace have yet to score at the Etihad stadium since returning to the Premier League, and face an uphill battle here after recent struggles despite consecutive home victories.

Hodgson has opted for a change in formation from his preferred 4-4-2 with a 4-3-3 against City.

Crystal Palace: Guaita, Wan-Bissaka, Tomkins, Sakho, Schlupp, Milivojevic, McArthur, Townsend, Zaha, Meyer.
Subs: Speroni, Ward, Dann, Sorloth, Ayew, Puncheon, Riedewald

Manchester City: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Laporte, Otamendi, Delph, Gundogan, Sane, Sterling, Bernardo, Jesus.
Subs: Muric, Danilo, Aguero, De Bruyne, Mahrez, Zinchenko, Foden
