Millwall boss not expecting long-serving defender to go in transfer window

Millwall boss Neil Harris has played down talk of a January exit for club captain Tony Craig.

Southend United are interested in the experienced defender, who is out of contract at the end of this season.

Harris told the South London Press earlier this week that the Lions are in talks over fresh terms for the 32-year-old – and that he wants him to stay at The Den.

“There has been publicised interest in Tony but I don’t expect anything to happen,” he said. “I don’t expect him to be going anywhere.”
