Millwall chief sets cycling challenge to raise funds for Prostate Cancer

Millwall chief executive Steve Kavanagh will cycle to five football grounds – part of a 160-mile challenge to raise money for Prostate Cancer.

Kavanagh and a small group of friends will start at The Den on July 15 before heading to Brighton’s Amex Stadium. After that will be overnight stops at Portsmouth and Southampton with Bournemouth the final destination.

Kavanagh is aiming to raise £5,000. He said: “There are so many deserving charities but Prostate Cancer started me doing such challenges with the EFL-supported ‘Football to Amsterdam’.

“I also lost my dad to this horrid disease that kills many men each year and I also know many survivors as a result of funding and research through such events.”
