Millwall have made their first move in the summer transfer market – agreeing a permanent deal for Alex Pearce.

The 30-year-old centre-back arrived in January on loan from Derby County.

And Pearce partnered Jake Cooper in the closing months of the Championship campaign – scoring in their FA Cup quarter-final tie against Brighton.

He will officially become a Lions player on July 1, when his contract at Derby County comes to an end.

Pearce played 16 times for Millwall.
