Millwall could still have a key man missing for derby against Brentford

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Millwall manager Neil Harris says Jed Wallace remains an injury doubt for Saturday’s derby at Brentford.

The winger sat out last weekend’s 3-0 win over Ipswich Town with a calf strain, watching the match from the stand.

And Wallace has not trained in the early part of this week.

Harris said: “We don’t know if he is going to be fit or not. I’d love to have him fit enough to play some part, whether that is from the start or the bench.

“At the moment he has still not trained and we’ll have to keep an eye on him as we go along and give him every opportunity to be fit – because we want a fully fit squad to choose from.”

Striker Tom Elliott has recovered from a dead leg suffered against the Tractor Boys.
