Millwall fans’ favourite Jimmy Abdou has joined French side Martigues.
The 33-year-old midfielder has returned to his hometown club.
Abdou signed a new deal with the Lions last summer and that ensured he clocked up 10 years with the South London outfit and is due a testimonial, which is set to take place at the end of July.
Abdou spent the most recent campaign on loan at AFC Wimbledon where he made 34 League One appearances for Neal Ardley’s side.
Capped 20 times by Comoros, he featured 340 times for Millwall.
