Millwall Lionesses boss to take charge of Yeovil Town Ladies

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Lee Burch is joining Yeovil Town Ladies as their new manager.

Millwall Lionesses finished third under Burch last season in WSL 2 despite financial issues in the closing weeks of the campaign.

Yeovil were bottom of WSL 1 but have avoided relegation due to the restructuring of the domestic women’s game. They will continue to play in the top flight and be full time.

Burch won the WSL 2 Manager of the Year award – picking up his accolade from England boss Gareth Southgate last month.
