Millwall Lionesses to hold trials as they look to build new squad

BY LUCAS BALL

Millwall Lionesses will hold trials to pick their new squad.

Following a split which saw the new London City Women created, Millwall’s side have no players and need to recruit ahead of the 2019-20 season.

This is a similar rebuild to what was required last season after all but two of the senior squad departed, and Millwall will again be moving their stadium.

After departing St Paul’s Sports Ground (the home of Fisher FC) for Dartford’s Princes Park in 2018-19, the Lionesses will move back into London to play at St. Paul’s once more.

Trials will be hosted at St Paul’s across three different sessions. These will be on Tuesday June 18th (6-8:30pm); Thursday June 20th (6-8:30pm) and Sunday June 23rd (4-6pm).

Players must be 16 years old or over and register via this link (cutt.ly/lionesses) by 9pm on Sunday night.
