Millwall manager Gary Rowett explains why Shane Ferguson didn’t feature against Brentford
Millwall manager Gary Rowett has explained Shane Ferguson’s absence from Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Brentford.
The Northern Ireland international did not feature at The Den at the weekend.
Rowett said: “Fergie’s wife had a baby yesterday [Friday] – a little girl. Congratulations to both of them.
“He hasn’t got family down with him. He didn’t train yesterday, so I felt it was very important he was with them and make sure they are okay.
“He’ll be back in Monday ready to train.”
