Millwall manager Gary Rowett tests positive for Covid-19 – and will miss Barnsley, Preston and Huddersfield matches

Millwall manager Gary Rowett has tested positive for Covid-19 – and will spend the next 10 days in isolation.

It means that assistant manager Adam Barrett will take charge of tomorrow’s home game against Barnsley.

Rowett will also not be in attendance for Wednesday’s fixture at Preston North End and the following weekend’s Den clash with Huddersfield.

The Lions chief clocked up 12 months in charge of the Lions on Wednesday.

Rowett reported mild symptoms this morning. He did not take training as normal and instead underwent a test.
