Millwall set to sign Arsenal defender on loan

Millwall are set to sign Arsenal defender Brooke Norton-Cuffy on loan.

The 19-year-old South Londoner, born in Pimlico, had an impressive temporary spell with Coventry City last season.

Norton-Cuffey, who plays predominantly as an attack-minded right-sided wing-back, is poised to complete his move to SE16 today and would be available for Saturday’s home game against Stoke City.

He has also excelled in other switches away from the Gunners with loans also completed at Lincoln City and Rotherham United.

Norton-Cuffy has been capped at a number of junior levels by England, including at U20 level.

He made 24 appearances in all competitions after joining Coventry in the January transfer window, also appearing in their Wembley play-off final defeat to Luton Town.
