Tom Elliott has suffered a grade one hamstring strain and will not be part of Millwall’s training camp in Portugal.
The striker – who could be sold this summer – lasted just 10 minutes of Saturday’s 4-0 win at Concord Rangers.
The Lions fly to Portugal on Friday for a week-long stay.
Ryan Leonard is also not set to travel as his wife has yet to give birth – she is due this week but the former Southend and Sheffield United man will only jet out if the baby arrives.
“Tom has got a grade one [hamstring strain] and is only going to be missing a couple of weeks,” said Millwall manager Neil Harris.
“He’ll be back running next week. He won’t come to Portugal, because he can’t contribute in the games.
‘He’ll stay behind to get the rehab he needs to get and we’ve got machinery at the training ground which will help him speed up his recovery.”
