Millwall’s young players already know if they are being offered new terms or let go

By Richard Cawley

Millwall’s young players who are coming out of contract this summer have been told if they will be offered fresh terms.

The likes of striker Jamie Philpot, who spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Welling United, and winger Kris Twardek, who made a temporary move to Carlisle United in January, are both due to be free agents.

Others in that situation include defenders Noah Chesmain and Christian Mbulu plus midfielder Harry Donovan.

Millwall manager Neil Harris said; “Nearly all of the players know what my thoughts are – whether they are going to be offered new contracts or be looking to progress their futures elsewhere.

“I expect we’ll make that public next week.”
