Brixton teen in court today on murder charge
A 16-year-old girl from Brixton has been charged with the murder of a man in King’s Cross.
The teenager will appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court later today charged with the murder of 51-year-old Anthony Marks, who died after being assaulted on Cromer Street on Saturday, August 10.
A 17-year-old boy has previously been charged and remanded in custody to face trial next year.
Neither can be named for legal reasons.
Officers remain keen to hear from any witnesses who have not yet spoken to them, as well as any of Anthony’s next of kin, who so far remain unidentified.
