Double attempted murder charge brought against man now named in Kensington shooting

A man has been charged following a double shooting that took place on Sunday in Ladbroke Grove.

Jazz Reid, 32, of Kensington, is charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a firearm and ammunition. He will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court today.

The shooting in Southern Row, at around 5.30pm, left a 34-year-old man and an eight-year-old girl suffering injuries.

Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command lead the investigation and continue to ask anyone with information that may assist to come forward.
