Entire first floor of three-storey building destroyed in house fire
The entire first floor of a three-storey building was destroyed by a fire in the early hours of this morning.
Six fire engines and about 40 firefighters tackled the blaze at a terraced house in Tradescant Road, Vauxhall.
The entirety of the first floor and parts of the second floor of the building were destroyed by the flames.
One adult suffering minor smoke inhalation was treated on-scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) was called at around 2.20am and the fire was under control by around 5.30am.
Crews from Lambeth, Clapham, Peckham and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
A LFB spokesman said: “The cause of the fire is undetermined.”
