Free workouts for King’s College medics to help them through pandemic

Medics have been given access to free workouts to help them through the draining ordeal of treating Covid-19 patients.

The King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has signed up to #DoingOurBit – a free online fitness platform for its 13,000 staff, including more than 40 workouts given to the NHS by Britain’s leading personal trainers.

The new #DoingOurBit platform is a substitute for face-to-face classes and has no cost to staff or the NHS.

Denise Grant, well-being lead at the King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, said: “As a former personal trainer and physiotherapist, it made perfect sense to me to enable our staff to benefit from this expert collaboration.

“They have asked qualified instructors and trainers who work within the NHS themselves to contribute a workout or two which will make this even more special.”

NHS staff can access #DoingOurBit by registering with their NHS email address and NHS Employer Number here.
