Lambeth in lockdown after teenager stabbed and left fighting for his life

Police have imposed a search cordon on some streets of Lambeth after a teenager was brutally stabbed in broad daylight this afternoon.

Three males have been arrested after the young man was stabbed in Lambeth.

Police were called at 1.30pm today, Thursday, 24 October to reports of a stabbing on Millbrook Road.

Officers and paramedics found a male, believed to be aged 16, suffering stab injuries.

He was taken to hospital where his injuries are believed to be life threatening.

Three males have been arrested and taken into custody.

A section 60 order – giving officers the right to search people at random – has been put in place covering the wards of Tulse Hill, Brixton Hill, Coldharbour, Ferndale, Vassell, Herne Hill, Stockwell and Larkhall from 3.30pm to 6.30am tomorrow, 25 October.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 with CAD 3728/24OCT or Crimestoppers anonymously 0800 555 111.
