Man survives stabbing in Bermondsey as attacker flees on motorbike
A man in his 30s suffered a serious chest injury after a stabbing in broad daylight, after which the attacker is reported to have fled on a motorbike.
Police were called to Camilla Road in Bermondsey at around 1.45pm yesterday, following reports that a man had been knifed after he was chased by another man from Southwark Park Road.
It happened near the junction with Lynton Road.
The London Ambulance Service and the Air Ambulance also attended and the victim was taken to hospital. His injuries have been assessed as non-life threatening.
No arrests have been made but enquiries are ongoing. The suspect is reported to have escaped on a motorbike.
London Ambulance Service confirmed it dispatched an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and members of a tactical response unit. An Air Ambulance was also sent.
