Piccadilly Line assault by passenger who refused to move bags off a seat

British Transport Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted on board a tube.

Between 8.20am and 8.40am on Monday, March 31, a man boarded at Hounslow Central, and asked another man to move bags from the seat and a buggy blocking the carriage.

The man refused to move the items and then punched the passenger who made the request in the face, before alighting at Knightsbridge.

The assailant is described as black, with dreadlock hair, wearing a grey tracksuit. He was accompanied by a woman with a buggy and suitcase.

Anyone with information or who may have seen the incident is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 116 of 31 March.
