Police appeal for information after truck was in a collision with a pedestrian

Police are appealing for information after a flat-bed truck was  in collision with a pedestrian in an alleged hit-and-run earlier this month.

The incident took place in Jamaica Road, Bermondsey, at around 5.25pm on December 2.

Police said that the driver failed to stop at the scene.

London Ambulance Service crews attended the scene and treated the pedestrian before taking him to hospital.

Enquiries remain ongoing.

Police have asked anyone who saw the incident or has information about the truck to call 020 7230 7600 or message @MetCC on X, quoting CAD 5503/02DEC.
