Sidcup school weighs in with its own success story
Christ the King Sixth Form has added its name to the list of schools delighting in the exceptional achievements of its students in A-level, BTEC, UAL and T-level results this week.
The students’ hard work and dedication at the Sidcup establishment have led to an impressive array of outcomes, with many securing places at prestigious universities, competitive degree apprenticeships or employment.
Students have achieved outstanding results, with a 97.8 per cent A-level pass rate and 21 A-level subjects achieving a 100 per cent pass rate. This is especially impressive, being above the national UK pass rate of 97.2 per cent.
T-levels are technical qualifications designed in collaboration with employers, equivalent to three A-levels, that combine classroom learning with industry placements to prepare students for skilled employment or further education.
Shireen Razey, executive principal of Christ the King Sixth Form, said: “Today’s results are a testament to the hard work, resilience and determination of our students. I am truly delighted and proud of our students’ amazing achievements.
“Our students have shown remarkable dedication to their studies, and it has been lovely celebrating with students and their families.
“Whether heading to university or starting their careers through apprenticeships, they are all well prepared for the future.
“At Christ the King, we are committed to providing high-quality education and support, and these results reflect our academic excellence.”
The school has students progressing to study at both Oxford and Cambridge universities, as well as others being successful in gaining places on medicine, veterinary science and engineering degrees.
In addition, many students have opted for degree apprenticeships, with top employers such as Bloomberg, IFL and the NHS, demonstrating the diverse opportunities available to students beyond traditional university pathways.
Those name-checked for outstanding results include Cameron Iyaman, Zainab Saddiq, Precious Odukoya-Omolade, Renee Hanson, Paige Nelms, Freya Williams-Ward, Haran Marcelene, Daniel Dimitrovski, Adam Borouka, Deborah Adeoti and Hannah Emenugha.
