The A-stars shine brightly at Bromley school for girls
Over half of all A-level entries at Harris Girls’ Academy, Bromley this year achieved impressive A-B grades, and a quarter the top A-A grades.
The school said it was equally thrilled that 59 per cent of CTEC grades achieved the top distinction*-distinction grades.
A particularly exceptional achievement was for Emilia Di Pari, who achieved AAA and is attending Trinity Hall, Cambridge, to study English literature in October.
Staff at the school, in Lennard Road, Beckenham, said they were also thrilled for Tyla Webb, who achieved AAB and is attending Birmingham University to study medicine.
Other students going on to their university of choice include Asia Cadwallader, Marina Gulijska, Marjana Khanom Feha, Bebe Luck, Edith Shaw, Liepa Zukauskaite and Mariam Ogunbanwo.
Sam Rigby, principal of Harris Girls’ Academy Bromley, said: “The ambition and determination of our students is reflected in an incredible set of outcomes, with a large number of places on some of the most competitive university courses in the UK.
“Alongside a great academic education, we make sure girls get a well-rounded experience of school life and build the confidence and other personal qualities to excel at university and beyond.
“Year 13 worked so hard, but they were supported by our outstanding teachers, and of course at home by their parents and wider families, too. We are grateful to all.”
