The search is on for Greenwich’s best business
The search for the best business in Greenwich is on as applications open for the council’s annual awards.
Nominations for the Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards 2024 will be open until October 7.
The awards are free to enter, and open to anyone who owns or manages a business in Greenwich.
This year’s awards offer 14 categories to choose from. Businesses can enter a maximum of two of the following categories: Best Food and Drink Venue, Best New Business, Greener Greenwich, Health and Wellbeing, High Street Business, Innovation, Made in Greenwich, Market or Mobile Trader, Digital, Professional Service, Tourism and Culture and Staff Development.
Two new categories have also been introduced, Entrepreneur – Under 30 and Entrepreneur – Over 30, in a bid to inspire future business leaders.
By taking part, businesses will be in the running to win the top prize of £3,000 to spend on their business.
Councillor Jackie Smith, cabinet member for Inclusive Economy, Business, Skills and Greenwich Supports, said: “We want to shine a light on the important work of our business community and their contributions to the borough.
“This is an opportunity to celebrate your businesses’ achievements and your employees and teams.
“We want to hear from businesses that go above and beyond, whether that’s by providing excellent customer service, enriching the local community or offering fantastic training and development for their staff.”
