Boy, 14, stabbed to death on bus in Woolwich
A 14-year-old boy has been stabbed to death on a bus in Woolwich.
Police were called at just before 2.30pm today to reports of a stabbing on the route 472 bus.
The incident happened in Woolwich Church Road near the junction with the A205 South Circular Road.
Police attended, along with London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
Paramedics treated the boy at the scene. He had received stab wound injuries, but tragically died shortly after medics arrived.
Police cordons and road closures remain in place while emergency services carry out enquiries. No arrests have been made so far.
