Two teenage boys injured in Notting Hill shooting

Two teenagers were hurt after a late-night shooting at Notting Hill on Monday.

Armed police officers responded to reports of gunfire in Verity Close at around 11.40pm.

They found the youngsters, aged 15 and 16, with gunshot wounds. Paramedics took them to hospital.

A Met spokesman said: Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

“Trident detectives are leading the investigation and are working with colleagues from the Central West Command Unit who police Kensington.

“A crime scene remains in place.”
