‘We all love you’: Father’s desperate plea to find missing daughter
A father is desperately searching for his missing daughter who disappeared from her Lewisham flat almost three weeks ago.
Lily-Anne Hook, 19, called her family from an unknown number the day she went missing on November 11, to let them know her phone had been stolen near Peckham.
Speaking to the South London Press, her father, Mark Hook said: “There was no indication that anything was wrong. She didn’t tell me where she was going or mention any plans.
“A few days before that we had been on the phone for an hour and she was her usual self – bright and funny.”
Lily-Anne is about 5ft 4ins, of slim build, with long wavy brown hair and nose piercings on both sides.
She is known to frequent Peckham, Croydon and other parts of South-east London.
Mr Hook believes his daughter was last seen in Peckham. Last Friday he travelled down from his Shropshire home to Lewisham to try and find her.
He said: “I made my way through Peckham to London Bridge, putting up flyers and spreading the word.
“She has her own flat in Lewisham so there were no flatmates we could ask. We only know her friends from London on a first-name basis.”
Mr Hook is separated from Lily-Anne’s mother, who lives in Leicester, but said there are no issues at home.
Speaking about the past few weeks, Mr Hook described feeling “completely numb”.
He said: “I’m focused on the fact I need to be okay because she could need me at any point. I need to hold it together for her.”
Addressing his daughter directly, Mr Hook said: “We all love you.”
A spokeswoman for the Met said: “We are still trying to find missing 19-year-old Lily-Anne. She frequents Croydon and South-east London.
“Any information or sightings please call 101/999 quoting 01/1112099/24.”
