Nile Rodgers & CHIC headlining this week’s Greenwich Music Time concert
Nile Rodgers & CHIC are the final headline act for this week’s Greenwich Music Time concert series, which returns to the world heritage listed Old Royal Naval College.
Rodgers & Chic will bring their high-energy, hit-filled show to London on Friday, July 6 and join Tom Jones, Noel Gallagher, Steps, Il Divo and Emeli Sande on the line-up for the six-day event.
Nile Rodgers & CHIC have enjoyed widespread mainstream success since their inception in the late 1970s, thanks to a string of hits including Le Freak, Good Times and Everybody Dance, while the band’s co-founder and frontman Nile Rodgers has produced and played on some of the biggest-selling albums of all time.
The CHIC live show features all of the band’s hits as well as songs from Rodgers’ collaborations with Madonna, David Bowie, Daft Punk and Diana Ross.
Transforming The Old Royal Naval College’s riverside location into the ultimate open-air venue, Greenwich Music Time has hosted concerts from the likes of Ray Davies, George Benson, Little Mix, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe, The Jacksons, Goldfrapp, Jools Holland, Jamie Cullum and many more since its inception in 2013.
Providing music fans with the opportunity to experience a variety of outdoor concerts against the backdrop of Greenwich’s historic landscape, the event has proved popular and celebrates its fifth anniversary in 2018.

Myself and my wonderful friend had an awesome time at this event 🙈🤸🏼♀️ But we both were a little disappointed that they didn’t play the most iconic tune ever 😶
