Non-league round-up: Promotion-chasing Bromley bidding for third straight National League win
Bromley head to Southend United tomorrow looking to record a third straight National League win.
The Ravens are second in the table and have collected 20 points from their last 10 matches.
Bromley were in FA Trophy action last weekend and defeated Slough Town 1-0 at Hayes Lane to set up a fourth round tie at home to Chippenham Town.
Andy Woodman’s side won the trophy in 2022 and Ryan Jones’ goal inside the opening 60 seconds clinched their progression.
“It was a hard-fought victory in an ugly game,” said Woodman. “The conditions were tough.
“We needed to be better with the ball at our feet. The best bit of football was the first 30 seconds – the rest of it was rubbish!”
Olufela Olomola, pictured above, is bidding to score in his third straight National League outing after netting the only goal in their 1-0 win over Rochdale last time out and also in the 4-1 success at Hartlepool.
Dulwich Hamlet are up to ninth in the Isthmian League Premier Division after a 2-0 win at Lewes last weekend.
Hakan Hayrettin’s side have gone 10 matches unbeaten in the league with their last reverse at Billericay on October 10.
Ryley Scott put them ahead on Saturday in the 10th minute with Luke Wanadio adding a second late on.
Dulwich are six points behind fifth-placed Wingate & Finchley, who occupy the final play-off position, and have played one more match.
Tomorrow they head to Enfield.
Cray Wanderers are just above the danger zone and drew 3-3 at home to Haringey Borough on Sunday – their opponents scoring twice at the death.
Tom Bonner, Anthony Cook and Ellis Brown had all scored before the interval for the Wands.
Cray Valley PM are only four points off top spot in the Isthmian League South East Division and are unbeaten in their 11 matches.
They will be heavy favourites to extend their undefeated run at Littlehampton Town tomorrow.
Fisher lost 3-2 at Glebe in the SCEFL Premier Division on Tuesday. The Fish were 3-0 down just past the half-hour mark before Manny Shoderu and Eni Amgbaduba cut the deficit.
Fisher are back on the road at Lydd Town tomorrow.
