Olympic gold medal triathlete Alex Yee ‘beyond proud’ of Brockley mural
By Toby Porter
Olympic gold medal triathlete Alex Yee has changed his Twitter cover picture to one of a mural near his home celebrating his victory.
Underneath it says “Walk this way” – which perhaps should be changed to “Swim, cycle and run this way.”
The 23-year-old from Brockley tweeted a picture of Lionel Stanhope’s painting with the words: “Beyond proud. This is my home.”
Stanhope has changed the ‘O’ to a medal, with Yee’s name on it.
