Open mic session with Caribbean food at The Post, Balham from Mothering Sunday

A Soulful Sunday Open Mic with opens for Mothering Sunday, March 27, with the phenomenal Host, Kimya.

You can now look forward on each last Sunday in the month to a night of entertainment blessed with genuine talent on stage delivering of their best – and Kimya directing the proceedings with aplomb.

The Post Balham also offers its copasetic, authentic Caribbean cuisine; with the forecourt ‘a slice of Shoreditch’ offering a variety of international stalls boasting tasty street food.

Kimya

Kimya, (pronounced “kee-MY-ah”) is a Contemporary Caribbean Pop-R&B Artist born and raised in Toronto, Canada.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music and is a Powerhouse Performer: her soulful vocals, honest delivery, and electrifying energy manifest a standout artist and storyteller.

In November 2020, she released her debut solo single, entitled ‘Almost There’, and released her second single, ‘Amazing‘, in July 2021.

Also boasting talents in Songwriting, Dance, she was a member of the Toronto Caribbean Dance Theatre Company, coaching Acting and Vocal & Performance, KIMYA’s mission is to be Lit Up and Light People Up!

Recently relocated to London to further her development and artistic endeavours she’s ready to show The Post Balham audience what she’s made of!
