Peterborough United v Charlton team line-ups: Addicks make four changes with Bogle, Pearce, Pratley and Smyth all starting

Charlton Athletic manager Lee Bowyer has made four changes for this evening’s League One fixture at Peterborough United.

The headline news is that top-scorer Chuks Aneke is dropped to the bench with Omar Bogle replacing him in the Addicks’ attack.

Darren Pratley and Jason Pearce both return to the starting line-up after serving their suspensions.

Paul Smyth switches in for Jonny Williams with Andrew Shinnie, who has been missing with a quad injury, fit enough to take his place on the bench.

The other two players to make way from Saturday’s 1-0 victory at Bristol Rovers are Adam Matthews and Albie Morgan, who was sent off late on for a second bookable offence.

Bowyer has always talked about needing to manage the minutes of Bogle to try and avoid any fresh injury issues – and the former Milton Keynes man had started the last two fixtures, including going the distance in the 4-4 draw with Rochdale on Friday night.

Charlton have lost one of their last five matches on the road but are up against a Posh side who are unbeaten in six games in all competitions.
