Police appeal after cyclist killed in collision in West Norwood

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was killed following a collision with a lorry.

Emergency services were called at around 1pm yesterday to Crown Lane in West Norwood, where a 50-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin are aware and are being supported by specially trained officers.

There have been no arrests. Police said the driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and is assisting them with their enquiries.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage of the incident is asked to call the appeal line on 0207 284 1574.
