Police appeal after man killed in Plumstead collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in Plumstead.

On Friday, at around 2.45pm, police were called after reports of a collision involving a man and a pedestrian in Bannockburn Road.

The car driver stopped and is helping police. There has been no arrest.

A man, aged in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers are in the process of tracing and informing his next of kin.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call 101, quoting CAD 4209/01Jul.
