Police charge second man with Christmas Eve murder of Swedish national Flamur Beqiri in Battersea

A second man has been charged with the murder of Swedish national Flamur Beqiri, who was shot and killed outside his home in Battersea on Christmas Eve last year.

Tobias Fredrik Andersson, 31, a Swedish national, was extradited from Sweden yesterday and has been charged with murder.

Flamur, aged 36, was killed on the evening of December 24, 2019, in Battersea Church Road, Wandsworth.

Two other Swedish nationals, aged 33 and 22, are currently still subject to the extradition process through the Swedish judicial system after they were arrested on October 8 on a UK European Arrest Warrant.

Anis Fouad Hemissi, 23, a Swedish National, was previously charged with Flamur’s murder. He was extradited back to the UK from Denmark in June and is due to appear at the Old Bailey on December 1.

Clifford Rollex, 30, of Percival Street, Islington, was charged with perverting the course of public justice and will appear at Wood Green Crown Court on November 30.

Anderson will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today.
