QPR defensive mainstay is moving on

Yoann Barbet, 29, is leaving QPR this summer after rejecting a contract extension.

The Frenchman chained 97 consecutive games together between February 2020 and March 2022.

“All the good things come to an end,” said Barbet in a social media post. “I would have loved to stay at the club, but the club and I couldn’t come to an agreement.

“I gave everything for the club and hope I’ve been a good example, on and off the pitch.”
