All change at Crystal Palace next month as Liverpool striker set for loan deal – with two heading out of SE25 exit door

Crystal Palace are in pole position to sign Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke – and his loan arrival is set to see Alexander Sorloth and Jordan Ayew heading out of the SE25 exit door.

The Eagles have had Solanke in their sights for a sustained period of time and are confident they will be able to complete a deal for the former Chelsea youngster when the January transfer window opens. Brighton and Fulham have also been linked with the England U21 international.

And that is likely to trigger other moves with Ayew seeing his loan from Swansea City cut short.

Alexander Sorloth is set to join Gent on a temporary basis. He has looked below Premier League quality since his permanent switch to South London in the last January window.

Solanke, 21, joined Liverpool from Chelsea in July 2017. He has scored one goal in 27 Premier League appearances but has not featured for the Premier League leaders this season.

He has scored eight in 15 appearances for England U21s.
