Arsenal loanee has outside chance of being back in Millwall squad for Middlesbrough fixture
Brooke Norton-Cuffy has a chance of being part of Millwall’s squad for their Championship match against Middlesbrough on Saturday.
The on-loan Arsenal player missed the FA Cup tie against Leicester with a knee niggle.
“Brooke is actually progressing quite well,” Lions head coach Joe Edwards told the South London Press. “I spoke to Brooke and the physio…Brooke had an aim in his head which the physio didn’t rule out of joining training at the end of the week.
“Obviously when it gets to the end of the week then being touch and go is one thing to rejoin training but to be able to rejoin a squad, there is no way Brooke will come in to start the game on Saturday.
“Maybe an outside chance of being on the bench, maybe, because he has progressed quite nicely than we first thought.
“Brooke is recovering the best out of the lot (the trio of Norton-Cuffy, Murray Wallace and Shaun Hutchinson who missed the Leicester tie).”
