Bromley defender nominated for League Two Player of the Month
Bromley centre-back Omar Sowunmi has been nominated for League Two’s Player of the Month award.
The towering defender played every single minute under Andy Woodman in the league last month.
He helped keep two clean sheets as the Ravens went unbeaten during their six games over the festive period.
Ex-Sutton defender Sowunmi also scored three times in the league, finding the net in the wins against Morecambe and Newport.
Sowunmi also scored in the 1-1 draw with Swindon.
He is up against Walsall striker Nathan Lowe, who picked up five goals and one assist last month.
Colchester’s Ellis Iandolo and Salford City’s Luke Garbutt have also been included in the four-player shortlist.
